Cylinder Plating and Replating for Honda Dirt Bikes

All of our dirt bike cylinder replating jobs are done with our patented NiCom nickel composite finish. Our competitors can’t offer cylinder plating that even comes close in terms of hardness, wear resistance, and naturally non-abrasive surface. We can apply it in thicknesses up to ten times greater than chromium, which makes it ideal for restoring tolerances in sliding wear applications such as the inside of an engine cylinder.

Not only will an application of NiCom coating restore your bike to factory compression and power, it will increase its lifespan. NiCom is more wear resistant and oleophilic than OEM or Chromium coatings.

Honda Dirtbike Cylinder Services

A Honda engine fresh from the dealer will last for thousands of hours of fun on the track or trail, but keeping up with oil changes and regular maintenance isn’t enough to keep your cylinders safe forever. Eventually wear or streaks will begin to rob you of giddy-up. When that happens contact U.S. Chrome for full dirt bike cylinder services and restoration.

Cylinder service from U.S. Chrome has put countless worn out dirt bikes back on the track using techniques like boring, replating and our diamond-plateau honing process. We’ll restore your bike’s compression and keep your favorite bike running for years to come.

Cylinder Boring and Overboring for Honda Dirt Bikes

Even if your Honda dirt bike has been dominating on the track already, dirt bike cylinder boring from U.S. Chrome can squeeze even more power out of your engine. Our technicians are experienced in taking engines out to maximum overbore for increased power and the most possible displacement.

An overbored cylinder combined with a diamond plateau honing job and application of our NiCom plating will leave your tolerances tight, your cylinders displacing more than ever, and your competition eating clods of dirt as you disappear around the first bend.
