U.S. Chrome - Wisconsin (hereafter called "USCW") offers a 365-day warranty on our proprietary NiCom Plating. This warranty covers adhesion issues of the plating only. Upon authorized return inspection by USCW, any plating that is deemed defective due to work performed at our facility will either be re-serviced or credited onto the dealer’s USCW account at the option of USCW.
This limited warranty does not apply to any product which fails due to damage, misuse, improper installation, improper or inadequate maintenance, extreme temperature failure, mishandling, accident, normal wear, or post-plating modifications. USCW is not liable for damage to parts due to specification or sizing issues. It is the customer’s duty to ensure the specifications are correct before installation.
Any products, including piston kits, which are sold by USCW but not manufactured by USCW, are sold solely with the warranties of the manufacturer(s) thereof.
USCW's liability for its products and processes shall be limited to servicing parts found to be defective by USCW. No Cash Refunds. Parties agree that USCW is not liable for incidental or consequential damages in connection with any actual or alleged defect including: loss of use, loss of income or profit, personal injury, or loss of life or property.
Warranties are non-transferable and meant for the original owner only. Return Authorizations will only be accepted from the original owner.
A Return Authorization number ("RA") must be requested and received from USCW. To receive an RA number, please email firstname.lastname@example.org and provide the dealer/customer number, cylinder serial number, invoice number, and a description of the alleged defect.
Each product and service are only eligible for one warranty service or credit. Once an item has been warranty serviced, the item only holds the remainder of the warranty period of the original item or service purchased.
All shipping charges to USCW, insurance and any damage from shipping for any and all warranty claims are the customer’s responsibility. If there is a defect, USCW will pay for return shipping of the replacement item back to the customer (within the continental US) by ground shipping only. If USCW does not find a defect, or the item was shipped from outside the continental US, return shipping will be at the customer’s expense.
USCW reserves the right to deny any and all claims if all conditions and terms are not met.
