All Honda side-by-side cylinder plating jobs done by US Chrome utilize our patented nickel composite, or NiCom, coating which has many benefits over more common chromium coatings. NiCom coatings are significantly harder and more resistant to sliding wear due to its very small 3 micron particle size. We can also apply our coatings up to ten times thicker than anything the competition offers, which makes it ideal for older or worn out cylinders to restore their compression.
